As such, RE-CREATION CONCERTS is excited to announce the signing of a star already in her own right,  formerly of Meat Loaf, we now introduce the amazing CC Coletti as the newest showstopper to fill the shoes of the incredible Janis Joplin as the lead  in the JUST  LIKE JANIS show!!!

Before touring in both her CC Coletti band and the "Experience Janis" tribute show for the last decade, CC has earned a flourishing career of her own, including a string of successful solo recordings and 8 years on the road as part of rock icon, Meat Loaf’s, Neverland Express world tours from 2003 through 2011. She appeared on three of his DVD's. Bat Out Of Hell Live With Melbourne Symphony, Three Bats Live and a documentary, In Search of Paradise. CC's voice can be heard on Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell 3 album and Hang Cool Teddy Bear. CC was also featured as the opening act for Meat Loaf's European tour in 2007.

 

C.C. brings not only her own passion for performing the music of Janis and experience as a career professional touring talent but also seasoned band members to merge with JLJ who have equally impressive resumes performing with the likes of BON JOVI, LADY GAGA, LENNY KRAVITZ, THE RASCALS and more.

On stage, with a twinkle in her eye and that rasp in her voice, CC Coletti channels the spirit of Janis Joplin, belting out hit after hit in a heartfelt tribute performance with all-star band that recreates the sound that defined a generation, slamming through classic 60s jams, laying down the soul, and conveying the tender ballads and old timey blues numbers that made Joplin a legend.

From Jimi to Janis to Cream and Carlos and more, the RE-CC eye for talent has hit a number of home runs over the past decade in finding talents like Cat Manning who would go on to sing with Peter Criss of KISS to finding Isabelle Gotfried who would join Jon Anderson of YES singing to now hitting a grand slam in gaining CC COLETTI of Meat Loaf to step into the role of becoming…JUST LIKE JANIS... Joplin!

 

Now with the JLJ show production from RE-Creation concerts, Sights and sounds complement each other, as the stage is time-warped back to the psychedelic 60s, with tie-dye, lava lamps, and choice threads. A psychedelic visual show sets the backdrop for the band’s vintage gear, which provides an authentic sound as CC pays homage to her idol in the best way she knows how -- urgently preaching the gospel according to the Pearl...Janis Joplin.
